For those who qualify, we offer:

Pell Grants

Pell Grants are a great way to help pay for your beauty school education. These are typically awarded to those with financial need but don’t normally have to be paid back like student loans.

Direct Loans

Depending on your financial situation, there are multiple types of loans that could help you pay for your education. Here are some of the loan options that might be right for you.

  • Direct subsidized loans are only available to students with financial need. Students with this loan will not need to pay interest as a student or for the first six months after graduation.
  • Direct unsubsidized loans are available to any student and there’s no requirement to demonstrate financial need. The students who make this loan will be responsible for paying the interest once the loan is disbursed.

PLUS Loans

The Parent PLUS loan can be given to parents of dependent undergraduate students to help pay for their student’s education. Parents must have qualifying credit to be approved for this type of loan. To find out more about PLUS loans and start filling out the application, click here.

DIRECT LOAN ENTRANCE AND EXIT COUNSELING

What is Entrance Counseling?

If you’ve never applied for or received a direct loan before, the federal government requires you to complete entrance counseling. This is so you can understand more about the financial aid process and what you would be agreeing to if you decided to take out a loan. This can be completed in one session and should only take you about 20-30 minutes.

What is Exit Counseling?

Every student who has taken out a loan needs to take exit counseling to help them prepare to repay the amount borrowed. Students will be required to take this if they leave school or have graduated. Like entrance counseling, this can be completed in one 20-30 minute session.

*Master Promissory Note (MPNs)

Tax Benefits For Education

Depending on your financial situation, it’s possible that you can get back some of the money from your education’s tuition or your loan payment through tax benefits. Read more about how this could help you pay for your education.
